Editing update, Rain scene;

I have had a lot of issues with the availability and reliability of my main actress as she no longer attends my college anymore, so I knew Iw as going to have an issue in the scene which required rain and was storyboarded to be filmed on a reall life rainy day.

I had the idea to film my actress in the same costume over a green screen to then edit in the appearance of a rainy day but this process would be very difficult as I am editing at home and have not had any experience in using effects for green screen.

I was really starting to panic as to what I would do to fill this gap in my video as I had been un able to re-shoot. I searched online to see if I could find a downloadable plug in which would have a pre-made effect I could use but this resulted with nothing.

I found a tutorial on youtube which shows how to create the look of artificial rain fall which is fairly subtle to the eye. I followed the tutorial step by step as I edited and I am very happy with the overall result. It has saved a lot of time and stress.

Here is the tutorial from Youtube.
