For my initial website idea I was going to design a preview page with a click through link the artist's main site, but I felt the idea was too simplistic and uneffective as it would only look to be promoting the new video, not the album. So I decided to compromise with a combination of the two webstie ideas; full site and promotion page. Whilst the new album cover is the background for the webpage, the navigation abr is present at the bottom of the page .
